Our founder, Mike Faust, is a proud North Carolina native, a devoted husband, and a loving father to two beautiful little girls. A man of deep faith, Mike’s commitment to honesty, integrity, and craftsmanship is rooted in his Christian values. From an early age, he found joy in building and creating, and over the years, that passion evolved into a mission: to craft outdoor spaces where families can connect and communities can thrive.
When he's not designing and building, you’ll likely find Mike indulging in his other passions—singing and playing softball. Whether it’s humming a tune while measuring boards, singing in church with his Dad, or hitting home runs on the softball field, music and sports are integral parts of who he is. That same joy and enthusiasm are woven into everything he does at Rusted Nail Renovations.
Mike isn’t in this alone. He works side by side with a trusted deacon from his church and a lifelong friend, forming a team built on faith, friendship, and a shared love of hard work. Together, they bring a unique blend of skill, dedication, and heart to every project, ensuring that each deck is designed with precision and built to last.For us, this isn’t just about building decks. It’s about creating spaces where life happens, where neighbors gather, where summer barbecues turn into lifelong traditions.
